Simon Halliday
Simon Halliday graduated from St. Martin's College, Lancaster in 2000 with a 2:1 degree in Performing Arts, music and drama. He has worked extensively with piano and keyboard and has appeared in various shows and television dramas. He's taught keyboard since the age of 16 and since training with 'Music for Families' in Blackburn this developed into piano tuition to grade 6 level. He is grade 8 piano with the Associated Board and is currently working as a piano teacher and writing more fiction.
Since having various poems and a short story published in 2000, Simon decided to make writing a greater priority. He established Mysterious Books in 2005 and has concentrated on developing the Peter Black series of books following positive feedback from piano students, friends and the general public. He's planning to promote the Peter Black mysteries to a much greater extent throughout 2008 and is also considering publishing the novels of other writers.
